What is voice expense tracking?

You speak a sentence describing the expense. The app converts your speech to text, then AI reads that sentence and pulls out the parts: amount, description, category. With Sakura, you say one sentence and its AI fills in the title, amount, and category — you only review and save.

Handling differs by app. With Sakura, according to the privacy policy: the original audio recording is never stored or transmitted; converting speech to text happens on your iPhone or through Apple’s servers depending on your iOS settings; only the transcribed text is sent off for the AI to analyze, and even that is not retained on the server.
